At The Spanish Schoolhouse children learn Spanish in a welcoming environment designed to engage their imagination and curiosity. Small groups give teachers the opportunity to continually assess the progress of each child and tailor the classes accordingly. By interacting with the language through a variety of techniques, children at varying levels flourish at their own speed.

Spanish Tots
By participating in activities designed to fully engage the heart and spirit, like singing, dancing, sensory stimulation, music, and art-making, Spanish Tots is a fun, interactive program where parents and children learn Spanish together. (6 months – 2 yr)

Session Cost: 10 classes $310.00 plus HST. Materials included.

Preschool Spanish
Preschool Spanish gives children the opportunity to learn Spanish through play based activities, in an environment where the joy of learning a new language is part of the joy of learning about life and themselves. Children participate in a wide variety of stimulating and fun activities, including drama and creative play, art, movement, and music along with more structured activities like alphabet and phonetics lessons. New language skills develop in an atmosphere of creativity and exploration.

Kinder Spanish
In Kinder Spanish children explore and learn Spanish concepts in a rich and stimulating environment. Our strategically planned curriculum parallels the guidelines from the Ontario Kindergarten Curriculum. Children will enjoy learning Spanish through a variety of theme-based units: – Circle time and calendar routines – Alphabet and phonics – Sensory and art activities – Drama and creative play – Music and movement – Storytime – Show and tell – Literacy activities and reading.

After School Program
In The Spanish Schoolhouse, students enjoy a variety of individual and group activities designed to engage them in conversation and improve proficiency in reading and writing. The program will improve their current language skills and promote new ones. Children can join classes at any time during the school year. Groups are divided as follows: Pre-K/JK-SK), Gr 1-2, Gr 3-8
