Individual adult Spanish learning is handled through TOSS / The Online Spanish Schoolhouse. TSSH does not maintain a separate adult private-lesson program. Review TOSS for the current private format, pricing, availability and registration.

Private lessons may be arranged for one child or a small compatible group, subject to the current program limits. Learners should have compatible ages, levels and goals. See the participant and pricing details on our children's private lessons page.

A lesson bundle is assigned to the learner or approved group named during registration and cannot normally be divided informally among unrelated students. Ask our team before purchasing if multiple learners need instruction. Our children's private lessons page explains the available formats.

Yes. Private and corporate Spanish lessons can be personalized around the learner’s current level, goals, interests and preferred pace.

Your instructor will select activities and learning materials that support your priorities while helping you build practical Spanish skills and confidence.

No. Beginners are welcome in our children’s programs, and children who already understand or speak some Spanish can be placed according to their existing ability.

Our registration forms ask about the learner’s previous exposure to Spanish, current understanding and learning needs. Please include as much detail as possible so our team and instructor can recommend an appropriate class or adapt the lesson plan.

Cancellation and rescheduling are governed by the notice requirements accepted during registration. Late cancellations or missed lessons may be charged. Please review the current terms shown through our registration page and contact your instructor or our team as soon as possible.

We offer private Spanish lessons for adults at every proficiency level, from complete beginner to advanced. Each lesson is customized around your current ability, learning goals, interests and preferred pace. Private lessons can support beginners as well as children with prior Spanish experience. The instructor adapts the plan after reviewing the learner’s age, current skills and goals. Submit those details through our private Spanish lessons for children page.

If both learners were scheduled for the lesson, the scheduled lesson time is still used even if one learner chooses not to participate. The teacher records each learner as Attended or Did Not Participate. The lesson is not repriced, refunded or credited because the teacher reserved and prepared for the scheduled learners.

Multi-learner pricing is designed for learners sharing lesson time. Separate appointments each use their full duration from the shared package balance. For example, one hour with one child followed by one hour with another child uses two package hours. A 4-hour two-learner package does not become 8 hours of individual instruction.

Package hours represent teacher appointment time, not hours per child. If two enrolled learners attend one 60-minute lesson together, one package hour is used. If they are taught in two separate 60-minute appointments, two package hours are used.

Yes. Private lessons can include up to four enrolled learners. Additional-participant pricing applies when the learners are enrolled in the same private package and are normally sharing the lesson time.

The first learner pays the base private-lesson package price. Each additional learner adds 25% of the base price for in-person lessons or 15% of the base price for online lessons. Prices are shown before HST. Separate appointments still use separate package time.

The teacher can continue teaching the learner who participates. Each scheduled learner is recorded individually as Attended or Did Not Participate. The appointment duration is deducted once from the shared package, and a temporary absence does not automatically change the package price or teacher compensation.

A permanent participant change is different from a one-day absence. Contact The Spanish Schoolhouse so the package can be updated for future lessons. Any applicable pricing or payment adjustment is handled from the change date forward and does not rewrite completed lessons.

Yes. Eligible families can use the secure Add More Private Lesson Hours link tied to their existing registration. Added hours stay connected to the same learners, delivery type, teacher assignment and schedule. For multi-learner packages, added hours are shared teacher-hours, not hours per learner.

Yes. Interac e-Transfer is available for eligible private-lesson add-ons. HST is added at checkout, but there is no card adjustment. Added hours remain pending until the transfer is received and confirmed.

When the configured card adjustment is enabled, credit-card payments include the displayed percentage adjustment before HST. The exact percentage and full price breakdown are shown before you continue to secure Stripe checkout.

Contact The Spanish Schoolhouse as early as possible. Rescheduling changes the appointment date or time but keeps the lesson connected to the same private package and scheduled learners unless a participant change is also requested.

Online private lessons are taught live virtually. In-person private lessons are taught at the approved lesson location. Pricing, additional-participant rates and teacher assignment can differ by delivery type, so the delivery method selected for the package remains part of the registration.
